“Margaret Hoyt Smith: Norwalk’s First Female Architect”
Exhibition & Graphic Design for the Norwalk Historical Society

This exhibition explores the life and work of Rowayton resident Margaret Hoyt Smith, who was commissioned in 1970 to design the house that is currently the home of the Norwalk Historical Society Museum (formerly Lockwood House). This exhibit includes original blue prints, historic architectural tools, interactive elements and informational take-away cards.

The exhibit identity and brand is heavily inspired by Smith’s own architectural drawings and her design style.
